http://shrink2shrink.libsyn.com/2-shrinks-geralds-game-netflix-2017

Handcuffs, Viagra, a sexless marriage.  These are all themes your favorite relationship therapists, Courtney Calkins and Colleen Mullen tackle when deconstructing the Stephen King Movie, Gerald’s Game.  We have some fun talking about how much sex is enough when you are in a long-term relationship, how to rekindle the spark in the bedroom, and when does foreplay actually take place?  Join us for this titillating twist on exploring relationships using a movie that features a woman handcuffed to a bed with a dead guy berating her!

While trying to spice up their marriage in their remote lake house, Jessie must fight to survive when her husband dies unexpectedly, leaving her handcuffed to their bed frame.

Split Movie (2017)

http://shrink2shrink.libsyn.com/2-shrinks-and-split-movie-2017

Have you wondered if people really do have multiple personalities?  Is it possible that they can change their biology as their personality splits off?  That's the big question in the M Knight Shyamalan suspenseful and creepy  movie, Split.  Listen in as therapists Dr Colleen Mullen and Courtney Calkins dissect this film through the use of selected scenes.  For this one, they also pulled in clips from real life examples of persons with multiple personality disorder, now referred to as Dissociative Identity Disorder. This movie gets you thinking about all of the possibilities of the mind, it's strength, it's ability to change how you are, it's ability to protect you from danger (at least when it splits you off into a different personality).  We can't wait to hear what you think!
